Commerce Software Payments: BusinessFlow's Engine
Flexibility and Automation

BusinessFlow supports a wide-range of payments methods and processes.  Processes are automated, the timing of payment processing is configurable and customers receive confirmation and updates with payment status.

Credit Cards

BusinessFlow supports more than 25 merchant processing gateways for real-time or batch credit card authorization and processing.  Multiple processors may be used concurrently and each may be associated with a business division, product category, or Website.

Purchase Orders, Terms and Credit Limits

BusinessFlow has full support for Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions.  Organizations may be granted terms and credit limits that automatically govern the sales process.  Organizations may have multiple contacts that inherit the payment arrangement with the organization or individual contacts may be granted special or limited privileges.

PayPal

BusinessFlow is completely integrated with PayPal.  BusinessFlow receives transactional detail from PayPal through its  Instant Payment Notification technology such that payments are automatically matched with the corresponding order.

Other Forms of Payment

Checks, Money Orders, EFTs and a variety of other payment forms are supported.

Automated Processing

Operations are supported by complete workflow with payment status, staged processing, and a payments manager for pending payments.

Real-time Order Status

Employees, sales people, management, shipping folks, and customers all have visibility (if you wish) into the exact real-time status of payments.  BusinessFlow enables the delivery of timely, accurate customer services and provides for customer self-service.

Partial Receiving, Back Order Tracking, and Payment Processing

BusinessFlow supports the receipt of partial orders and corresponding payments and maintains real-time status on all backorders.  When backorders arrive, BusinessFlow enables the payment for and fulfillment of outstanding orders.

Order Modification

Orders may be modified, added to, amended and voided after they are originally placed and payments adjust accordingly.  BusinessFlow provides the workflow to track modifications and make real-time changes.

Order Approval

BusinessFlow supports a full order approval process that ties to payment events with workflow that manages each stage and the recording of authorizations.

Taxation

BusinessFlow has full taxation support for up-to-date state and zip code based tax rates.  The configuration engine enables different tax treatments at any level in the company and product hierarchy, down to a specific tax treatment for a single item.

Customer Notifications

BusinessFlow enables customer notifications of payments received or due to be sent via email, fax, or mail.  A template manager enables the customization of each type of communication.

Attributes

Additional payment processing rules that are specific to a customer, organization, or an order may be enacted through BusinessFlow's attribution engine.

Import / Export and Reporting

BusinessFlow has a robust Web Services interface and configurable import/export tools for integration with legacy systems, third party software, and other entities which may requires payment information.  The toolset enables granular details as to every aspect of items, inventory status, and transactions and may associate payments and transactions with particular ledger accounts for financial reporting.
