Vendor Management
BusinessFlow supports full vendor profiling, order status and history, notes, activities, product associations and item specific vendor item codes, descriptions, and costing. BusinessFlow's attribution system enables the definition and storage of any number of aspects of each vendor item in inventory for use in profiling and negotiation.
Multiple Vendor Sourcing and Alternate Item Management
BusinessFlow supports the management of multiple suppliers for any item. Vendor specific item codes, descriptions, and costing are all tracked enabling smart purchasing, the optimization of margins, and smooth logistics when managing complex item sourcing.
Receiving
BusinessFlow supports direct and remote receiving for onsite and third party logistics receiving. Multiple purchase orders may be concurrently received against in the case of aggregated shipments. Inventory levels are automatically adjusted and the payment processing workflow is triggered.
Services Procurement
BusinessFlow has full support for the procurement of services including service definitions, deliverables, timetables, and associated items.
Purchase Orders Delivery
BusinessFlow enables purchase orders to be sent to suppliers via mail, fax, email or electronically. Each vendor may have their own preference. The electronic process may be either batch or real-time with confirmation of receipt and shipment notifications delivered automatically.
Partial Receiving and Back Order Tracking
BusinessFlow supports the receipt of partial orders and maintains real-time status on all backorders. When backorders arrive, BusinessFlow enables the fulfillment of outstanding orders.
Drop Shipments
BusinessFlow manages the process for drop shipments, multiple-site drop shipments, and private labeled third party fulfillment. The configuration engine enables rules definition for shipping costs.
Automatic Replenishment of Inventory
Purchase order auto-generation may be driven by minimum re-order points, sales history, and special orders. Real-time inventory availability across multiple locations may be measured against demand generated through multi-channel sales. An inventory commitment system (on-hold) assures that items are not oversold or under-bought, and an on-order system enables you to keep stock levels in tight control.
Track and Trace Lots
BusinessFlow tracks batches and lots and enables the recording of events, processes, and documentation to be attached to an item or lot throughout its lifecycle.
Categorical and Catalog Purchasing
BusinessFlow supports product category specific purchasing and catalog specific purchasing.
Serialization
BusinessFlow has full support for the procurement of serialized and unique inventories. Workflow enable coordination with suppliers such that items may be identified and registered in BusinessFlow even before they are received. At any point in the fulfillment process, BusinessFlow allows the designation of a particular serialized item to fulfill an order.
Variations
BusinessFlow manages any number of item variations such as coloration and sizing. An ordering matrix enables rapid purchasing and a single view for the management of complex inventories.
Multiple Units of Measure
BusinessFlow supports multiple units of measure for purchasing, storing, ordering, and shipping. The Web Services driving Ecommerce allow the flexibility for you to determine the units by which customers may purchase items and the integrated purchasing system enables the conversion of units to facilitate purchasing from suppliers.
Import / Export and Reporting
BusinessFlow has a robust Web Services interface and configurable import/export tools for integration with legacy systems, third party software, and other entities including shipping providers. The toolset enables granular details as to every aspect of items, inventory status, customers, orders, purchase orders and transactions.
